My recent stay at the Zero Guest House (제로 게스트 하우스) in Daegu, South Korea was unfortunately subpar, leaving much to be desired. While the guesthouse promises comfort and convenience, the reality fell short of expectations. I would rate my experience 1.5 stars.

Location and Accessibility

The guesthouse is located in Jung-gu (중구), Daegu (대구), at 9, Dongseong-ro 12-gil (동성로 12길). While centrally located, the immediate surrounding area felt a little run down. Public transport access was decent, but finding the guesthouse itself within the network of alleys was a bit challenging.

Rooms and Amenities

The rooms were basic and cramped. Cleanliness was an issue, with noticeable dust and worn furnishings. The amenities were limited, although the free Wi-Fi worked reliably, as advertised.

Guest Experience

Being in Jung-gu offered access to several attractions and shopping streets within walking distance. Exploring the local markets and street food scene was a definite highlight.

Practical Information

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. The price range is around ₩18,327.00, which is budget-friendly, but given the quality, I felt it was still overpriced.
